yes depersonalize it so the potential buyer can see themselves there.
Selling a house can be hard..you have to take your attachment out of the picture.
put away person pictures and items.

have a good tidy up and use local storage as a stop gap till you move
to make the place look showy.

remember to make the place look attractive out side " curb appeal "
and have fresh flowers in the house when you have viewings.
declutter......clutter is a big turn off these days.

remember your selling an item that is your house you need
to think your selling a product and regrettably forget sentiments.

naturalise strong colors inside the home, with creams and whites
and a quick paint over can lift a room.

all best T.

another good tip is to have an "open day" this is popular in Australia and is more common here
I know two people sold there house this way.

you do get people just turn up for a look and more serious
if the agent is reputable they will do this and it means you have folk all around at once.

but you need family and friends to help you and show folk around.

idea of having 'viewings' and set appoints is old fashioned.

Saturday between 1 and 5 is a great time to have an open afternoon.

Yeah, sage advise from "Torteval" there!!! Even Flower could tell that he has googled "how to sell a house" or something. His usual posts look like they are written by a 5 year old on a pc without a spell check! What a joker!!!
What an absolute shower!
